Last year, one of my students at a drawing class volunteered to bring her cast of David to use as a model.
She was gracious in her willingness to trade the cast for some of my artwork so that I could have it to use for other classes.
Part of the trade is a drawing of the cast. I scaled the size of the drawing to the actual size of the cast, 12” high.
The size of the drawing is 14 x 17” and frame size is 24 x 27”.
These are the latest of interior wall mural and faux paintings.

I apologize for not keeping posted what is new in my Art world. The following is a summery of the year. We have relocated the studio to Tucson, AZ. since January. I finished my Turning Bear Fine Art Academy curriculum. I began teaching classes in February once I landed into a very nice studio/ Gallery, only 1 mile from where we staying.
I have taught private atelier classes, Home Educating high school students, adult art community classes, and Art Guild classes. The classes range from fundamentals of drawing through advanced drawing including portrait studies. The painting classes are all instruction in oil medium, yet some students have done acrylic. In my classes I have been teaching monochromatic (paintings with burnt Umber, White and Black) , has a sepia look to it. Also a “Limited Palette”
technique with using only three colors.
I have been painting freelance Sonora Desert scenes mostly with mountains and capturing the magnificent sunset skies here in the SW. I completed a commission doing a wall mural of a cherry tree blossoming by a long time friend and art collector. Thanks Gail
I have a new galley representing my work here in Tucson. The DECO GALLERY 2612 E. Broadway Tucson, AZ located at Broadway and Tucson Ave for those of you that are local. They are new to the metro area and have wonderful “Art for Living”. Please come see , experience, and purchase some creative art pieces in both 2 dimensional to 3D.
Fall 2008
I was commissioned to do a oil painting for a couple from San Antonio, Texas. They had me capture a family experience of their frequent visits of the Averill’s Flathead Lake Lodge, Bigfork, Mt. It was a pleasure to capture a beautiful part of Mt for them. They seemed to be pleased with the composition and the outcome of the overall completed painting. They are wonderful people to work with. I was honored they ask me to do this for them. Thank you, Bill and Mary.
Photos of recent work will be put on blog soon.

Lynne and I just got back from a great art show in Bigfork, Montana. It is an annual show of juried art work at the “Bigfork Art & Cultural Center. I had four originals shown there and they will be displayed there through August 14th. The location is 525 Electric Ave. in downtown Bigfork.
